Expanding and Selling Property in Pietermaritzburg

Challenge: In 2006, our Estate Agency division was tasked with selling units in a new Pietermaritzburg development. With only 60 of the planned 113 units completed, we needed to drive sales and explore expansion opportunities.

Solution:
Sales Success:
Within two months of launch, we sold 50 of the 60 available units, showcasing our marketing strength.

Development & Expansion:
Profile Property secured the rights to expand the development. We added 7 units, sized between 220 m² and 330 m², offering attractive alternatives to the original 150 m² units.

Rental & Sales Strategy:
Initially, the new units were held as rentals. However, due to strong demand, we successfully sold two of the larger units, underscoring the effectiveness of our approach.

Result:
This project highlighted our expertise in property development and sales, adding significant value to the overall development and meeting diverse client needs.
